Summer Program

Can you believe that I have a summer program? Me neither. My daughter, Janna, is home for the summer earning money to go back to school and she is helping me with the calendar at Lasting Memories. Last week she told me that I had to get to work on my “summer program” because everyone else had announced theirs and I was late. I didn’t even know I needed a “summer program”. I had worked very hard to come up with great events that I scheduled over the summer. I had all kinds of events – classes, Make ‘n Takes, contests, sales, but I didn’t know that I was supposed to mesh them all together into a program.

Here are some of the highlights of our Summer Program:
o  Our youngest daughter is getting married this summer and I need to lose a few pounds.
    (More than a few, but I will settle for 10)  So we are launching “fitness Fridays” to keep me
    motivated and encourage all of us to improve our health.
o  Andrea Grossman from Mrs. Grossman’s sticker company is coming to our store July 26th!
    Mrs. Grossman is one of my heroes.   I have found her to be one of the most inspirational
    women I have ever met.  We are so thrilled that she has agreed to visit Lasting Memories!
o  Enjoy great savings at our Sidewalk Sale.
o  August will bring a month long Disney Memories event for those of you who have enjoyed a
    trip to Disneyland or are planning one in the future.
o  Watch for a very special “duck” hunt coming this summer.
o  Our customers will enjoy getting rid of their extra supplies at our 2nd annual Swap Meet
o  Making Memories will be presenting a special day full of great products and Make ‘n Takes.
